The development history of seed drill

The first seed drill in Europe was made in Greece in 1636. In 1830, the Russians added a seeding device to an animal-powered multi-share plow to make a plow drill. After 1860, Britain, the United States and other countries began to mass-produce animal-powered grain drills. After the 20th century, traction and suspension grain drills, as well as pneumatic seed drills, appeared one after another. In 1958, the first centrifugal seed drill appeared in Norway, and various precision seed drills were gradually developed after the 1950s. China introduced grain drills and cotton seed drills from abroad in the 1950s. In the 1960s, it successfully developed a variety of machine models such as suspension grain seed drills, centrifugal seed drills, general frame seed drills and air suction seed drills, and successfully developed a grinding grain seeding device. By the 1970s, two series of general seeding and intertillage machines and grain combined seed drills had been formed and put into production. Various drills and hole seed drills for grains, intertillage crops, forage grass and vegetables have been promoted and used. At the same time, a variety of precision seed drills have also been successfully developed.
